If you are looking to showcase your proficiency at League of Legends, then check out ten of the hardest expertise challenges below.

Expertise challenges can only be completed when playing normal or ranked games on Summoner’s Rift, so ARAM fans will gain no progression points in the expertise category if they find themselves battling it out on the Howling Abyss.

10No Quarter

The No Quarter challenge is incredibly straightforward, as it requires you to kill enemies while they are in range of their own towers. Tower diving is an incredibly common engagement technique in League of Legends, and has the highest chances of success when multiple team members commit to the dive.

If you want the highest chances of success to complete this challenge, attack the enemy under their tower with a tank unit to absorb turret shots while the damage dealers on your team finish off the enemies. It is also important to remember that this challenge requires kills, not takedowns, so you must be the player that secures the kill to progress through the mission.

9One Stone

The One Stone challenge was designed for anyone that loves decimating their opponent with long-range skill shots. In this instance, you must kill two players with the same ability cast to level up the task.

When attempting to score points in this category, playinglong-range mage champions such as Luxor Xerath will help you to accomplish this challenge faster. Furthermore, killing two champions with one ability cast is something you may complete multiple times in the same match, making this challenge incredibly fun to level if you are a master at landing your skill shots.

If you want to complete this challenge easily, pick champions that can efficiently farm minions, such as Anivia, Malzahar, Irelia, or Yasuo. It is also important to note that to complete this challenge, you must also ensure that your team wins after you finish farming for CS. While the laning phase is certainly important, do not forget that you can constantly farm minions until the game is over, so always play safe and never throw your lead away.

7It’s My Jungle Now

If you find yourself gravitating toward the Jungle, then completing the It’s My Jungle Now challenge is right up your alley. This tasks you with taking more of your opponent’s jungle camps than they have by the ten-minute mark.

This challenge can be difficult to complete since you are putting yourself at great risk by constantly invading the enemy territory to steal jungle camps. If you want to complete this challenge easier, pick champions such as Fiddlesticks, Kayn, or other junglers that have fast early clears and play with friends that can support you when you invade the enemy jungle.

With the League’s durability update, every champion in the game has been given extra health, armor, and magic resist in an effort to prevent characters from getting one shot. This has made the Blink And You’ll Miss It challenge more difficult to complete, as it requires you to kill a champion in less than 1.5 seconds, with over ninety percent of the damage coming from you specifically.

When attempting to complete this challenge, assassin championssuch as Zed, Talon, or Qiyana will make it easier to burst targets quickly since they all have kits designed around killing opponents swiftly. Furthermore, since tank units are incredibly prevalent in League there may not be an opportunity to attempt this challenge every game. If the enemy team is selecting squishy units during champion select, then you may have the perfect chance to play your favorite assassin and complete the challenge.

5Death Incarnate

The Death Incarnate challenge is a classic skill check, requiring you to get twelve or more takedowns within fifteen minutes of the game starting. However, since the first minute of any League of Legends game mostly consists of waiting for minions to spawn, the time period you have to complete this task is shorter than it seems.

It is important to note that in League of Legends, takedowns are not the same as kills. Takedowns are a combined score, made up of the sum of your own kills and any kills that you have assisted throughout a match. This makes the challenge slightly less stressful since you do not need to go out of your way to secure all twelve of the kills yourself. With that being said, having twelve or more takedowns in roughly fourteen minutes means you must be playing perfectly, so pick whichever champion you feel the most capable on and pay close attention to how much time you have remaining.

4Unkillable Demon King

If you are a master at staying alive throughout the landing phase and intense team fights, then completing the Unkillable Demon King challenge is a great way to show off your indisputable survivability. To complete this task, you must win games without dying to enemy champions.

If you are actively trying to complete this challenge then playing as tank champions such as Tahm Kench or Cho’gath will bolster your chances of staying alive since these units are built to soak up large amounts of damage. Luckily this challenge is far from impossible, especially if you focus on securing victory by the end of the match instead of your personal kills.

Furthermore, attempting this challenge with a friend group can greatly increase your odds since these players will go out of their way to protect you.

2Same Penta, Different Champ

Nothing in League of Legends is more satisfying than securing a pentakill, or killing all five members of the enemy team. The Same Penta, Different Champ challenge asks you to secure pentakills while playing different champions, so you can only complete this task over multiple matches.

This is an excellent challenge as it requires you to demonstrate your technical skills on multiple champions as well as your team fighting prowess. Typically, pentakills happen later in the game when all ten champions are battling it out for objectives, so do not get discouraged if you can not secure early kills.

1Decimator

The Decimator challenge also requires you to secure pentakills to complete the task, however, this time you must get two separate pentakills in the same game. Unlike the previous challenge you don’t need to change up your champion pool, so this mission is best completed on whatever character you feel the most competent on.

While every champion in the game can technically get a pentakill, there are some champions that are better suited for cleaning up team fights and racking up many kills. Champions like Samira and Katarina have large ultimate abilities that damage multiple people at once, while Pyke’s ultimate executes low-health enemies and is tailor-made for securing pentakills.
