What is Stormgate?
Stormgate is a compelling blend of fantasy and sci-fi, unfolding in a post-apocalyptic setting set in the near future. Stormgate’s early access release date is on July 15, 2025. The RTS game is free to play and available onSteam.
Stormgate gameplay
Developed by Frost Giant Studios using Unreal Engine 5, Stormgate’s Snowplay feature supports thousands of units in a single map, allowing for expansive battles.
Stormgate has a one to three-player campaign, a three-player co-op, 1v1 and 3v3 competitive matchmaking, and custom game features similar to Warcraft and Starcraft.
With the capability to accommodate up to 32 players in a single lobby, the game promises a dynamic multiplayer experience.
Additionally, Stormgate incorporates mass spectating and rollback netcode, ensuring optimal connections even in high-latency conditions.
