We’ve had plenty of creative mods to cover this week, ranging from a new way to play Sonic Frontiers, to the most chaotic way to tackle Mass Effect 3 we’ve seen yet.
But first, we open on this port of an older Skyrim mod, making it much easier to play the game as an NPC. Because honestly, I think we could all do with something to mix up our next run.

Skyrim Mod Lets You Live The Ultimate NPC Life, Growing From Child To Elder
It’s always fun to find a new way to play through Skyrim, and this mod makes that a whole lot easier. The Growing Up in Skyrim mod has been ported over to Skyrim Special Edition, letting you start your life as a child, and work your way up into an elder. You even get your own family and hometown, giving you a vastly different introduction to the game than what you usually get. And a lot less violent. Age is linked to level too, meaning that grinding away will change more than just your stats.
Sonic Frontiers Transforms Into Devil May Cry With These Mods
Sonic Frontiers’ combat was almost influenced by Devil May Cry, and thanks to fans, we can now see what that could have looked like. Two mods have been made for the game thatcompletely overhauls the combat system, making attacks much riskier, and punishing those of us that just got by with spamming phantom rush. Generally, the mods make the game a lot harder, but successfully pulling off flashy combos will also deal far more damage than before, so it will reward you for learning every move in Sonic’s skill tree. Fallout New Vegas Mod Lets You Screenshot Someone’s NFT
Remember last year when the biggest drama on Twitter was a bunch of crypto bros crying about “right clickers”? Well, go back to this much simpler timewith this Fallout New Vegas mod. With this mod installed, the Boulder City war memorial that commemorates the NCR’s narrow victory in the Battle of Hoover Dam instead becomes a huge Bored Ape NFT. Next, all you have to do is grab a camera, and snap away. The NCR guard next to the memorial obviously won’t be happy, but that’s the fun. Oh, and fun fact: taking a picture of the memorial in the base game will actually have the same effect, because the engine treats the camera as a weapon.
Mass Effect 3 Chaos Mod Creates Random, “Annoying And Lethal” Events Every 20 Seconds
Randomiser mods are usually meant to be fun, but this creation for Mass Effect 3 couldn’t be further from that. Well, maybe that’s unfair - it definitely won’t be boring, at least.Chaos Mod for Mass Effect 3’s Legendary Edition is just what the name suggests, a mod that causes absolute chaos. Every 20 to 40 seconds, a random effect will take over your gameplay. This can range from having your character launched out of bounds, to turning you into an Elcor. If you’re not too fussed about playing professionally and just want to have a laugh, this is definitely the mod for you.
