Free-to-play and live-service games are known for adding additional content to keep you coming back for more. This content often comes in the form of cosmetics that you can flaunt in-game. It’s a fun way to enjoy what the game has to offer, as cosmetics breathe a breath of fresh air into the game.

Valorantcosmetics exist inthe form of weapon skins, player cards, titles and gun buddies. The dangly weapon attachment you see on guns in-game is called a gun buddy, and they come from purchasing bundles, reaching tiers in the battle pass, or linking your Riot account with your Prime Gaming account. They’re a nice touch to spice up your skins; keep your teammates close, and your gun buddy closer.

10Ego Rhino

Isn’t it adorable? This big-headed rhino is part of the ego collection released in Episode 1. It’s wearing a white jacket with glistening gold accents, perhaps to showcase how viable it’d be asa playable character.

Unfortunately, the Ego gun buddy is no longer available — it was only included upon purchase of the original Ego bundle. Although you won’t be able to put it on your own weapons if you don’t own it, you can still use it if you find one attached to a gun in-game.

9Froggie Hat

What started as a Reddit meme eventually came to life in Valorant’s Episode 2 battle pass. Froggie Hat is based on the frog statue design from Split. The gun buddy attachment is a playful rendition of a meme where Cypher’s hat was carefully placed on top of one of the statues.

The cosmetic shows just how closely Riot and Valorant pay attention to their player base. Between that and the design, this attachment is a favorite of those who were lucky enough to get it.

8Le Baguette

Bread. Le Baguette was introduced during Disruption Act 2 in the battle pass. This gun buddy pays homage to the beloved French agent Chamber. Rumor has it that if you equip this gun buddy to a weapon while playing as Chamber, the enemy team is required to forfeit.

In all seriousness, the texture and detail of the gun buddy are what sets it apart from others, along with its uniqueness. Valorant has no shortage of food cosmetics — just don’t attempt to eat them.
