Trace Esports, a Chinese team that defied all expectations, is the tournament’s biggest surprise. They advanced to the playoffs by defeating Team Vitality 2-1 and by pulling off a shocking 2-1 upset against Leviatan.
Finally, Chinese team Edward Gaming eliminated the 2023 Valorant Champions runner-up, Paper Rex, with a 2-1 victory in Group D’s decider match.

The Valorant Champions 2024 Playoffs mark the tournament’s second phase, where the intensity and competition reach a fever pitch. The top eight teams from the group stage will battle it to determine the ultimate champion.
The first five days of the playoffs continue at theCOEX Atrium, a venue renowned for its musical performances and capable of hosting over 800 eager fans.
As the competition reaches its finale, the action shifts to theInspire Arenafor the final three days. This state-of-the-art, 15,000-seat arena is no stranger to hosting major events and is the perfect stage for crowning the Valorant Champions.
