No matter whether you believe in horoscopes or think they’re utter nonsense, you have to admit that they’re fun to read. Who is this mysterious person who’s going to walk into my life next Tuesday? What shocking news will I receive on Saturday evening? Which star sign should I avoid at all costs this week?

That being said, horoscopes have a bit of a stigma. Anyone who reads them regularly will, most likely, be told what a load of rubbish they are. That’s why these video game characters would read their horoscopes in secret, keeping their penchant for reading about what’s in their stars as a daily ritual for them and them alone.
7Axel (Kingdom Hearts)
Axel tries to be a cool guy. He’s got the spiky red hair and spinning, fiery blades, but underneath that persona is someone who just wantsthe best for his friends, especially Roxas and Xion. I get the feeling that, while Roxas and Xion were AWOL from the Organization, he’d look for any kind of sign that they were okay.
That means reading boththeirdaily horoscopes alongside his. And he’d probably keep this up after he found them again, too.
6Eunie (Xenoblade Chronicles 3)
Probably the loudest member of the party inXenoblade Chronicles 3, Eunie isn’t afraid to say what she thinks, but she also keeps some secrets — like the fact that she enjoys collecting Fourtune Clovers. In a similar vein, she’d like to read her daily horoscope, but of course, she can’t let anyone knowthat.
There is the slight issue of “birth” not being, well, a thing in the colonies of Aionios, but I imagine they have a similar system that tells your future and compatibility with others in a vague, applies-to-just-about-everyone way.
5Blathers (Animal Crossing)
Blathers may be a man (bird?) of science who loves nothing more than to tell you about fossils and fish (and bugs, with pain in his eyes), but you know who loves astronomy? His younger sister, Celeste. In some games, she has an observatory to look at the stars, and inNew Horizons, she gives youDIY recipes based on the star signs.

So, as the loving older brother he is, Blathers would also take an interest in Celeste’s passion. He might think it’s all nonsense with nothing much to back it, but he sees how much Celeste enjoys it and wants to share that with her too.
4Bea (Night In The Woods)
By the time you meet Bea inNight in the Woods, she’s beaten down by all the world has thrown at her. Her mother passed away in her last year of high school, which meant her father couldn’t afford to send her to college. She’s cynical, and she has every damn right to be.
But perhaps she keeps up one frivolous thing: reading her daily horoscope. She might look to see if maybe, just maybe, there’s something good to come in her future, if she just dared to hope.
3Tosai “Fret” Furesawa (NEO: The World Ends With You)
Fret is that extrovert friend who’s always getting to know people wherever you go — he’s outgoing and bubbly, but he’s also got a soft side to him. And he alsohas a huge crushon Kanon Tachibana.
Fret’s the kind of guy to immediately look up his horoscope and compatibility with a new crush the second he sets eyes on them. Do our star signs complement each other, he wonders? Is the secret that’s soon to be revealed their reciprocal crush on me? Fret doesn’t know, but he sure thinks the stars do.
2Urbosa (The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild)
Chief of the Gerudo before her demise in the Calamity, Urbosa wasa powerful Championand has a pretty stoic personality. She cares deeply for her people, as well as Princess Zelda, having been close to her mother.

This soft side of hers just might extend to reading horoscopes. But of course, she can’t let her camaraderie of formidable Gerudo forces know! Instead, she scurries away to her private room in the Royal Palace, and reads what’s in store for her next week. She’d likely see what’s coming up for Zelda, too.
1Sephiroth (Final Fantasy 7)
Sephiroth is certainly not the person you picture when you think of someone who reads their daily horoscope. However, I have reason to believe he is an avid horoscope fan. After he learns the truth about his past, he decides he’s the one who’s destined to rule the planet.
Do you know who else thinks like that? Someone who’s just read their horoscope, and saw that good news is supposed to come their way later today. He’s full of that self-righteous confidence, that’s for sure. Before he heads out for another day of bothering Cloud, he conditions his hair, and then checks his horoscope. If it’s bad news, well, the stars are just having an off day. If it’s good news? Of course, the stars are never wrong.
