Popular Twitch streamerTyler “Tyler1” Steinkampannounced the launch of his new startup, Backseat AI by Tyler1, an in-game artificial intelligence-driven companion aimed at guidingLeague of Legendsplayers.
Thelaunch video featureshis voice doing real-time coaching, including item build suggestions.
Tyler1, who achieved Challenger in all five LoL roles, stated via atweet on X: “I created Backseat AI so I can keep helping y’all be alphas even when I’m not there!”

Backseat AI by Tyler1 is in its early alpha stage and remains a work in progress.
Notably, the startup has received approval from Riot Games and complies with their Terms of Service, ensuring that using it will not result in any player bans.
“Backseat and the team were inspired by Tyler’s dilemma when he learned he was going to be a dad last year,” said Marcel Feldkamp, Backseat AI’s co-founder. “His growth was linear, tied to how much he streamed and ultimately limited by his ability to consistently create content.”
Feldkamp also addressed the controversial nature of AI in the digital space, asserting that “the rise of AI can be a positive force multiplier for the creator economy, if used right and built alongside creators themselves.”

Backseat AI offers pre-game tips and post-game analysis, giving information tailored to your stats, match-up, and team stats.
The AI also provides a real-time coach you can interact with during your match in League of Legends. It even cheers for you whenever you get a Penta.
