One of the many collectibles you may find inDeliver Us Marsare chat logs from the AstroTalk cloud. These snippets of conversation show the thoughts of Outward’s colonists, and the different ways they handled the stresses of Martian life. Some are so obvious you could practically trip over them, but others are concealed where only the most observant players will find them.

When Kat is near an AstroTalk log, it will glow with an orange light, and you’ll hear a distinctive ping. Even with those cues, it’s still a feat to find every log. Use this guide to complete your collection!
This guide contains spoilers. We recommend completing the game’s story before using this guide to pick up any AstroTalks that you missed.
Chapter Two
The first AstroTalk log is found in Chapter Two. After the second flashback,look in the main corridor of Zephyr-3on your way to the cockpit. Just to the left of the support column, you’ll see an AstroTool with a conversation between Sarah and Ryan on the screen.
Chapter Three
There are two AstroTalk logs on board ARK Labos, both of which require a little poking around to find. The first isnear the bottom of the cryo chamber. Look for a single open pod - the telltale orange light will turn on as you approach.
The second chat log isin a side room.When you enter the fitness center past the cryo chamber,look for a room to the left.Enter it and turn right - you’ll see anopen cupboard in the cornercontaining an AstroTool.
Chapter Four
When you reach the main section of the quarry after viewing the chapter’s first hologram,look for a ruined craneat the base of the STREAME tower. Nearby is a depressurized building. Go inside and look for an AstroToolon the shelves to the right.
After viewing the second hologram,leave through the rear airlock.Beyond is a partially-collapsed tunnel. Before climbing up,crouch into the blocked chamber at the far end of the tunnelto find an AstroTalk log.
Your flashlight is very useful for hunting down AstroTools in the caves!
At the top of the first climb in the tunnels, the quarry opens up into a large chamber.Check the far-left cornerto find an AstroTool sitting on a rock.

Chapter Five
When you first enter the ARK Habitas medical wing,look for an office on the rightwhile Ryan is talking about Sarah’s previous encounter with Isaac. There’s a chat log on the desk. The door is directly across from the poster reading Divided We Fail, Together We Succeed.
Immediately afterward, you’ll find alarge room with hospital beds.Keep an eye on the right-hand wall, and you’ll see an AstroTool light up. Grab it before moving on to learn more about the quarry from the previous chapter.
In the corridor between Rosa’s office and the cell block,look for the security station on the left.Inside is an AstroTalk chat logsitting on the desk, directly in front of the chair.
Chapter Six
When you go downstairs in the first part of Odum Facility,turn left at the damaged lockers.You’ll find yourself in the loading dock, where you can find an AstroToolon a crate to the right of the entrance.
After using the container to bypass the broken bridge,enter the building on the far side.Walk past the grow lab (without entering) and out the opposite airlock to find yourself onthe far side of the broken bridge. There’s an AstroTool here with information about the Homeward movement.
When you start swimming through the flooded facility,look to the right of the emergency hatchbefore cutting it open - you’ll see an AstroTool floating in the water.
Chapter Seven
Look for atable to your leftafter you cross the bridge over the chasm that you climbed in Chapter Five. The AstroTool should light up as you pass.
During the MPT puzzle to open the locked door and follow ACE,go to the second floorand check the sleeping pods near the room with the resistor. You can easily collect it when Kat goes to retrieve the equipment after AYLA places it by the door.
Chapter Eight
At the top of the first climb that requires you to use your pickaxes,turn around and jump across the tunnel you just climbed.On the opposite side is an abandoned AstroTool.
When you reach the bridge of ARK Labos,check the console to your leftas soon as you enter. There’s an AstroTool that wasn’t there when you visited in Chapter Three.
Chapter Nine
Before you speak to Isaac in the kitchen of the replica house,go upstairsand lookon the floor in Isaac’s room. It’s the one directly in front of you when you reach the second floor. The game’s final AstroTalk log is there to be collected.
