Going on an adventure and finding treasure remains an enjoyable aspect ofDragon Quest Treasures. As you go on your journey, you’ll encounter plenty of monsters, discover new areas, and find chests. You’ll go to the various islands and want to collect everything available. You may even find it challenging to find every treasure chest in a specific area.

Instead of running around randomly looking for the chests, this guide will help you save time. Track down the last few you missed in the Cinderback Ridge, so you avoid problems while ensuring you get everything you want.
Defining Chests And Bringing Fortes
Remember thatchests are different from Bric-a-Bracsand treasure. You find those as glowing points on the map, while chests arewooden and colored boxesyou find on the map. You’ll know you came across one if itturns yellow after you use the Scan Forte.
Speaking of Fortes, you should bringLaunch and Glideto help you with navigation. As mentioned, you’ll also want to bringScanif you struggle to see the chests while searching for them. You’ll need to useStealthat times based on the chest, so look through the descriptions and see when best to use it.

Cinderback Ridge Chest Locations
You’ll come across51 wooden chests and three colored chestsin theCinderback Ridge, so ensure you look around and check high and low for them.
For some reason, you’resometimes too tallto enter some of therock caves. If you want to get those chests,bring Stealthwith you just in case.

How To Find And Get Them
Gonortheastfrom theCold Shoulder Central Station. You’ll find it on the ground near arock wall.
Travelnortheast of the Cold Shoulder, and you’ll find it ontop of cliffwhile usingLaunch.
A bit furthernorth of the previous chest, and justnortheast of the Cold Shoulder. You may need to useStealthto reach it inside thestone encasing.
Justnorth of the Cold Shoulder, near largerib cage bones. You should bringLaunchto navigate the area.
A bitsouth of the previous one, but stillnorth of the Cold Shoulder. You can either useLaunchto get on it, orfollow the pathand jump off theledge to the north.
On alarge cliffbetween theCold ShoulderandBloodleaf Bosque. UseLaunch and Glideto make the jumps easier.
Next to atree with red leavesin thenorthernportion of theBloodleaf Bosque.
Enter theeast entrance of Backatoa. You’ll find it straight ahead,next to a firepit.
Gosouthwest of the Fire Trapsandnorth of the Redscale Rise Station. You’ll find the chestnear some cliffs, between the lava and the road.
In thewest of the Fire Traps, on acliffbetween the path and lava.
Gowest of the Lumbar Lavalandsandnortheast of the Redscale Rise. You’ll find it on arock in the lavaand down near the base of thelarge cactus.

North of the Lumbar Lavalands, near the large curve of lava and just before the path.
North of the Lumbar Lavalandsandwestof the previous chest. You’ll find it on alarge platform, so bringLaunchfor this chest.
West of the Cold Shoulder Central Station, between the two paths and near a rock wall.
Goeast of the Lumbar Lavalandsandsouth of the Cold Shoulder Central Station. You’ll find it next to atree, though you may want to bringLaunchto navigate the area.
In thecenter of the Redscale Rise, hidden in arock cave. You’ll need to crouch or useStealthto get inside.
In theeast section of the Redscale Rise, right before you reach thegiant cactus. You’ll find it below theeast sideof thebridge.
On thesouth side of the giant cactus, which iseast of the Redscale Rise. You’ll have to jumpnear the baseto reach the chest.
Southeast of the Bloodleaf Boulevard Station, near the other road. You’ll find the chest next tomultiple cliffs.
South of the Bloodleaf Boulevard Station, on some rocks and near ametal bridge. You’ll needLaunchto get there.
East of the Bloodleaf Boulevard Stationandsoutheast of the Bloodleaf Bosque. You’ll find it on a rock near the cliffs.
Inside arock cave,southwest of the Cold Shoulderandnorth of the Lumbar Lavalands. You should bringStealthto reach it.
East of the previous chest, also in astone structurethat needsStealth. You’ll find it justnorth of the Lumbar Lavalands.
Barelyeast of the previous chest,south of the Cold Shoulder, and near theLumbar Lavalands. You’ll find it in arock structure, so useStealth.
In between the two roadswest of the Cold Shoulder Central Station. You’ll find it in astone structure, so useStealth.
Southwest of the Cold Shoulder Central Station. You’ll find it in astone structureon a cliff, so bringLaunch and Stealth.
In astone structurejustsouthwest of the Cold Shoulder Central Station, near the road. You’ll wantStealthjust in case.
Head furthersouth from the Cold Shoulder Central Stationon thewest side of the path. You’ll want to useStealthto go in therock structure.
In astone structure southeast of the Lumbar Lavalands, just past the road. You need Stealth to reach the chest.
In thesouth section of the Fire Traps,justeast of the Redscale Rise Station. You’ll find it near the lava, so bringLaunch.
On top of thecliffs southwest of the Claret Knoll. You should useLaunch and Glideto make the jumps easier.
On top of theRedscale Rise Station. You’ll need to give the Station Master somelava lumps and sanguiniteto activate the station and reach the chest.
On the cliffseast of the Redscale Rise Station. UseLaunchto make the jumps easier.
South of the Claret Knolland the road. You’ll find it next to the smallmountain range.
In thecenter of the Claret Knoll, next to thelarge tree. UseLaunchto reach the top.
Inside astone cave north of the Claret Knoll, close to thefirepit. You’ll want to bringStealth.
East of the previous chest, just past the firepitnorth of the Claret Knoll. This is another one in astone cave, so haveStealthavailable.
In astone structure north of the Cold Shoulder. You’ll be near variousboneswhen you reach the area. BringStealthto get inside the structure.
West of the previous chest, sonorthwest of the Cold Shoulder. Another one that’s in astone structure, so bringStealthalong.
In thesouthwest portion of the Cold Shoulder. It’s inside astone cave, meaning you may needStealth.
North and slightly west of the Redscale Rise, around the area where the path loops. You’ll find it in astone enclosurewith a tree next to it.
North of the Redscale Riseandwest of the Lumbar Lavalands. TryLaunchto get on top of thelarge platform.
Southwest of the Redscale Riseandnorthwest of the Redscale Rise Station. You must go up the platform usingLaunch, or by wrapping around theback of the Redscale Riseto go across themetal bridgeoverBackatoa’s entrance.You’ll find it infront of a giant metal structure.
North of the Cold Shoulderandsouth of the large bones. It’s in arock cavewith some rubble in front of it. You may needStealth.
In thecenter of the Cold Shoulder, on theraised platform. Go to thenortheast portion of the platformand useStealthto enter therock cave.
West of the Cold Shoulder. You’ll find itunder a stone staircasewith somerubble on the ground.
Northwest of the Redscale Riseandnortheast of Backatoa. You’ll find it in arock cave, so you may want to useStealth.
On top of thelarge cliff of Redscale Rise. You’ll want to useLaunch and Glideto reach this point.
At thenorth-most point of the map, hidden in arock cave. You may needStealthto reach it. You also have totalk with Axelwest of the first station to get this chest to appear.

The Colored Chests
When it comes to the colored chests, you should note thatyou can only access them after you go throughPrincess Anemone’s quests.Make sure to complete these first!
How To Get Them
Northeast of the Lumbar Lavalandsandsouth of the Cold Shoulder Central Station. If you want to get this one, you’ll need to useLaunch and Glideto get on thetall cliff.
Headeast of the Redscale Rise. You’ll find the chestinside the giant cactus, so useLaunch and Glideto easily get there.
Between theBloodleaf Boulevard Stationand theLumbar Lavalands. You’ll find it on alarge plateauwith plenty ofmetal and stones nearby. You should bringLaunch and Glide.
