InMiddle-Earth: Shadow of War, you’ll be on a journey through several regions that you can explore and fast-travel between as you progress through the game. Among the many activities and quests you get to do, there are severalShelob Memoriesyou can collect as well. These visions are aglimpse into Shelob’s pastand serve to flesh out her character’s backstory.

There are numerous sets of hermemories scattered throughout the regionsof Mordor, and collecting them all could prove invaluable to the protagonist, Talion. However, the wraith, Celebrimbor, is skeptical of Shelob’s intentions.

Shelob Memories In Minas Ithil

Minas Ithil is thefirst regionyou’ll explore in Shadow of War, and is where you’ll find thefirst three Shelob Memoriesscattered around the map.

There arethreeShelob Memories ineach region, and findingevery set grants you one skill point. Each individual memory gives us a glimpse into Shelob’s backstory and the history she shares with the main antagonist of the game.

It is possible to find these memories without using theHaedir towers, but they can still beused to findother collectibles like theGondorian artifacts and Ithildin.

Once you’ve found a memory, you have tointeract with it to solve a puzzlethat involves rotatinga shattered imageuntil you find the angle thatfits the pieces together.

The first memory can be found to the left of the amphitheatre. It sits within this building to the north of the map.

you’re able to turn and rotate the pieces until you can hearwhispering noises, which gradually becomelouder as you get closerto the correct alignment of the picture.

Notes

You can find this memory byheading northof the map and to theleft of the amphitheater. A small tower overlooks a ruined fountain surrounded by four columns.

Shelob Memory #2

The entrance isat the back of the amphitheater, directly across the one closest to the Haedir tower. It isinsidethe entranceto the right.

Shelob Memory #3

Coincidentally, this memory is justbehind your positionas the cinematic ends.Going back to this spotyou’ll find that there are two largebarricades blocking the entrancefrom view. The memory sitsat the back of the cave.

You can find this memory in the amphitheatre within the tunnel furthest from the Haedir.

Shelob Memories In Cirith Ungol

The region,Cirith Ungol, can be described as a large, rocky, and cavernous environment with the region’s fortress situated on the edge of a cliff.

This region is also thehome of Shelob, according to the game’s canon. The region has several tunnels and passages that lead to open spaces where ruins have been occupied by and used asUruk outposts. Thebeastsyou’lltypically findhere areGhulsandSpiders.

This memory can be found inside of a cave at the most southern point of the map.

you’re able to find this memory in thelarge cave that opens upto a wider area. Coming infrom the southof the cave, you’ll notice thethree rock-hutssituated in the open space, and the memory in thisnaturally-occurring passage.

Shelob Memory #5

This memory is near theedge of the water, to theleft of a ruined buildingwith the Haedir tower close by.

Shelob Memory #6

There are a bunch of Uruks in this area, so you may either go in sword in hand or sneak around. You have tomake your way up the scaffoldingto reach this memory.

Shelob Memories In Nurnén

Nurnén, in contrast to all the other regions, has a lot of green and natural scenery. It’s a refreshing sight to see, since much of the other regions' colors can seem monotone.

In this region, you’ll encounter twosupporting charactersknown asBrúzandCarnan. You’ll also be introduced tonew activitiessuch as theFight Pitsandcapturing fortresses.

You can find this memory in a cave that opens up to a larger area. Coming in from the south you’ll notice the three rock-huts just through that passage.

Shelob Memory #7

You can seethe waterfallsas you’re standing on the Haedir tower. Make your way over there andclimb up the rock wallnext to thewaterfall to the right. You’ll find a caveentrance behind the water, go inside, and you’ll see the memory.

Shelob Memory #8

The easiest way to find this cave entrance is to go theHaedir towerinside this outpost andlook directly at the mountain. The memory isn’t that deepinside the cave, you’ll be able tosee it as you turn the cornerafter the entrance.

Shelob Memory #9

The entrance to this cave isacross the entrance of the fort. As you enter the cave, there is aledge to your left.At the topyou’ll find the memory. Two torches and spider webs mark the area.

Shelob Memories In Seregost

Seregost is the region where you’ll encounter the mostvertical terrain, as the region is surrounded bysteep mountainsand also includesa frozen lake.

Seregost is one of the last two regions you’ll be able to explore after completing main quests in Nurnén. The region isfilled with CaragorsandFrost Graugs. It’s also the region where you’ll have yourlast encounter with a particular enemy.

This memory can be found near the water’s edge right next to some ruins.

Shelob Memory #10

This memory’s location is straightforward, as you can find it by goingto the left as you stand in front of the fort’s gate. Thewooden structure marks the cave entrance. The memory is at the back of it, across the gap.

Shelob Memory #11

This memory is tucked away in thecorner of this cave system, above and behind a few crates. The entrance can be spotted from thefront of the fort to right, just behind the fort’s walls. Thecave splitsinto two directions, the memory isdown the left path.

Shelob Memory #12

For this memory, you’re able to still face the front of the fort. Lookback over your right shoulder, past the cranes you’ll see atall rock wall with a ledgeat the top. Theentrance is to the leftof the small fire and the memory is just inside.

Shelob Memories in Gorgoroth

Gorgoroth is one of the last regions, along with Seregost, you’llunlock after completing some of the main quests. This region is made up of several volcanic plains, including the large volcano just outside the playable boundary.

You’ll find that themajority of enemiesyou’ll encounter here havefire weapons, and there are severalDrakesandFlame Graugsin the surrounding area.

You can find this memory on a platform.

Shelob Memory #13

You’ll be able to find this memory bytraversing down the pit’s scaffolding. You’ll see this hollowed out areanext to the lavafalling into the pit. The memory istucked into the back of this area.

Shelob Memory #14

You can see the cave entrance toyour leftfrom theHaedir tower. Thistunnelis situated on theinside of that cave,to the rightand close to the entrance. It can be missed easily if you’re sprinting.

Shelob Memory #15

This memory is located in thecenter of the regioninside a large cave. The entrance can bespotted from the buildings standing across it. Beware of the caragors which the game tends to spawn here.

The Final Shelob Memory

The final Shelob Memoryreveals all the memoriesas a short cinematic, which also shows what happened in theaftermath of the eventsthat take place within those memories.

This memory is located inCirith Ungol, and can be foundnear the Haedir towerthat sits on the across the map from the fort. Facing the direction of the fort, there’sa cave to your bottom-left. The memory isn’t that deep inside the cave, and can be foundsitting by the wall to the left.

Nurnen - a region which is still mostly forest and natural structures.

After completing this memory you’llunlock the skill,Cluster of Spiders, which allows you to summona swarm of spidersinstead of followers.
