Pirates are best known for three things. First, sailing the seven seas. Second, raising the black flag and boarding ships for plunder. Third, strolling about the coast while searching for some sort of buried treasure. Their search for Queen Zuleyka’s Treasure inThe Witcher 3is mostly the latter.

You might encounter this intrepid crew on Velen’s coast after they have already found what they are searching for. All you will need to do is swim over and take the treasure for yourself. After all, Geralt is a far more famous person than they are. He even has songs made in his honor.

Where To Start Treasure Hunt: Queen Zuleyka’s Treasure

This quest begins after you pick up a note at a pirate camp on thewest coast of Velen.It’s in the middle of the camp, laying on a bedroll and with over a dozen irate pirates between you and the location of the treasure.

attempt to approach the area from thenorth or south.Doing so willmake it harder for the pirates to surround you,reducing the chance of being overwhelmed.

This fight will be one of endurance.Pace yourselfand useHanged Man’s Venomalongside bombs to maximize damage against humans and groups.

You will need toread the notebefore the treasure’s location is identified on the map. Once that is done,swim into the oceanto begin searching.

Finding The Sunken Treasure

The journey over to the search area will be eventful.Drowners patrolling the oceanwill notice a white-haired witcher paddling through and attempt to attack. As always, underwater combat islimited to your crossbow.They should be killed within a shot or two.

There ishidden treasureon a small spit just off the coast. It’s guarded by aNoonwraithand can be difficult at lower levels.It is worth tacklingif only for convenience. After all, you’ve already reached the area.

The loot is still within a sunken ship’s hold. You will need toswim over to the ship’s deckand swim inside through a hole to find the treasure. Loot it toend the quest.
