The Fall Of The House Of Reardon is one of the easiest side quests inThe Witcher 3to complete. Geralt is contracted by a noble fallen from wealth to remove the monsters infesting her ancestral home. This sounds as simple in concept as it is in practice.

The quest gets less straightforward when it comes to Geralt’s payment. Without any money, the woman offers Geralt her savings, hidden somewhere in the manor. You might find yourself wishing for a guide when it comes to finding the money she owes you and to discover some secrets literally sealed away.

From The Notice Board

Geralt can find a contract to clear the houseon the notice board at Lindenvale.

Talk To Dolores

The former noble, Dolores Reardon will beejected from a housewhen you first arrive at Lindenvale.Talk to herto start the quest.

Visit The Manor

The quest will start automatically if youwander into the manorbefore speaking to Dolores.

If youspeak to Dolores first,before going to the manor she willgive you a key to her lockbox.Without any money, this will have to be your reward. If youwent to the manor first,you can get the key from her later.

This quest isheavily affected by Letho’s fate.He acts asthe antagonist of The Witcher 2and can be killed at the end of the game. Unless you imported a save orsimulated a Witcher 2 save,Letho is dead.

IfLetho is alive,the monsters will already have been killed and the questGhosts of the Pastwill start.

The manor isinfested with wraiths.They can be killed with the usual mixture ofYrdenandMoon Dust bombs.Once they have been defeated, you cansearch the manorfor your reward.

It’s alright if youforget to claim your reward.you’re able to alwaysreturn to the manorto search for it.

Where The Chest Is Located

Dolores' chest isinside the main building,attached to the barn. Unfortunately, themain door is locked.To unlock it, go to a house on thenorthwestern cornerof the manor and find a keyin the cornerof the building.

This key willunlock the main building.Once inside,use your Witcher Sensesto find some words written on a wall. Interacting with it willreveal the chest,allowing you to claim your reward.

Dolores' savingsare in florens,a currency not used in Velen. You will have togo to Novigradto have the currency converted into something Geralt can use.

Finding Further Secrets

You can earn additionalexperience pointsif you discoverDolores' brother’s fate.You will need toenter the cellar,behind the main building and search the basement fora weakened wall,highlighted in red with your Witcher Senses.Use Aardon the wall to break it down andfind a body inside.

He had written his final moments on thenotes next to his body.It would seem thatDolores' husband sealed him inside,leaving him to die alone. Bring the notesback to Doloresto earn the extra reward.
