Opportunity can strike suddenly and without warning inThe Witcher 3.You can find a treasure hunt, Hidden from the World, by roaming around Velen and stumbling across the bandit camp where it starts. While you won’t need to put in too much effort to kill the bandits, the rewards make it worth doing.

Where To Start Treasure Hunt: Hidden From The World
You will need to travel to thesouthern end ofMarauders' Bridge,in the southeastern part of Velen to start this treasure hunt. Once you arrive,follow the roaduntil you pass by a bandit camp marked with the Hidden Treasure marker. The bandits will taunt you, making it obvious.
This part of Velen has manyhigh-level queststhat you might struggle with. If you are still early in the game, it would be best toleave after finishing the treasure hunt.
Take them up on the challenge and slaughter the gang. Once they have departed the world,use your Witcher Sensesand look for a slain banditwith a red outline.This body holds a letter with specific instructions to hide some treasure. Once Geralt reads it, the treasure hunt begins and aquest marker is added.
The bandit camp itself has some loot. Nothing fancy, but you will findsome junk to sellor even somestrong alcoholfor your potions if you are lucky.
Finding The Treasure
Turn around andhead south from the camp.You are looking to cross the road and climb a short hill opposite the camp. There is atreasure chestat the top, hidden near some shrubs and a tree. Plunder it for your reward and to end the quest.
The loot is randomized, though you are likely to getcrafting recipesanduseful materials.
