Haruka becomes a Bofurin Grade Captain — Wind Breaker episode 12 recap
Episode 12, titled The Dependable One, begins with most of the class nominating Haruka Sakura as the new Grade Captain.
The second-year Grade Captain, Ren Kaji, who wasn’t listening to the deliberation, told Haruka to accept the nomination already.
To learn the ropes of being a Grade Captain, the second-year students had Haruka, his second, Hayato Suo, and supporter, Akihiko Nirei, shadow them for a day.
Haruka’s first task as the newly appointed Grade Captain is to help an old lady get her cat back.
After helping the old lady, Haruka confronted Ren about the responsibilities of being a Grade Captain and realized they were in an identical situation. They both didn’t want to lead, but since people relied on them and helped them, they needed to do what they could and not let them down.
Hajime Umemiya then summoned all of Bofurin’s Grade Captains to the school’s rooftop for a meeting. Haruka finally met all of Bofurin’s higher-ups, including the Four Kings and their secondaries.
